Pastoralia, the World of Ewe

Pastoralia is the showcase for activities developed by the professionals of Roquefort-area’s ovine sector. It presents the world of ewe’s milk production in terms of history, geography, technology, economy and society. It’s a very good follow-up to a visit to the Roquefort cheese caves, and follows the different stages of cheese production.

The exhibit space of PASTORALIA is dedicated to the ewe. It provides the visitor with an information centre, a learning tool and accessible language. It was designed for laymen and children.

While discovering the world of ewes, the visitor will follow a course of olfactory and auditory games and quizzes.
